SWATbots

The SWATbots (voiced by Frank Welker and Jim Cummings) are Robotnik's mechanical minions that patrol Robotropolis and are programmed to capture anyone organic for Robotnik, especially a "Priority One" hedgehog of the superfast kind. SWATbots have no emotions whatsoever.

Ten years ago during the great war, SWATbots were deployed under the command of Dr. Julian Robotnik who was warlord at the time. They proved to be efficient in combat, winning the war for King Maximillian Acorn. However, they proved to be ineffective against Sonic's speed, and they have poor accuracy when using fire arms.

In the city they also enrolled to keep the peace in Mobotropolis before they became heartless freedom fighter hunting machines for Robotnik.
